A Happy Girl (一个快乐的女孩)

Hello, everyone! My name is Li Jialu. You can call me Rose in English. I’m thirteen years old.

When I was a young girl, my father and my mother made me study English. In those days, I thought English was very terrible, and I didn’t like it at all. Because of this, my parents were very strict with me, and often said: “ English will become important in the future. So, if you want to be successful in the future, you must work hard to learn English.” Now, I want to thank my parents because they have helped me to experience the happiness of learning English I currently enjoy.

Now, I am studying in Qing Dao Zhi Cheng Experimental Middle School. I like the proverb: “ Where there is a will, there is a way.” A student who has no resolve will never succeed in his or her studies; while if a student decides to master English, then he or she will use most of his or her spare time to learn English.
