Hello, everybody. My Chinese name is LiuHong. You can call me Lisa, that is my English name. I’m a student in the Seventh Middle School in Qingdao. I like doing many things: collecting stamps, listening to music, reading books, flying kites, singing and so on. Playing lute is my favorite hobby.

I started learning to play lute when I was about six years old. Since then my spare time has become less and less compared to other students. By now I have been learning to play the lute for almost six years. Looking back on the last six years, I have had some hard times but also some very happy moments too. I remember I hated playing the lute when I was about seven years old, because the hard sharp strings often hurt my fingers. At that time, I cried and told my mom I wanted to give up. But my mom wouldn’t allow it. Instead she encouraged me to keep playing. Three years passed, I have overcome many difficulties. Little by little, I began to love playing lute. Now it has become indispensable in my life. I play my favorite lute everyday to enjoy it with my mom. Lastly I realize why my mom had insisted on me continuing to play. Without her, I would have regretted giving up on flute.

我6岁开始学习琵琶。从那时起，我就比别的同学少了很多玩耍的时间。如今我已经学习了6年多了。 回顾这6年，真是有开心也有难过。起初我并不喜欢学琵琶。7岁时，因为琵琶弦既硬又锋利，我的手已磨破了好几次。我就哭闹着跟妈妈说我坚决不学了。可是妈妈却不同意。她鼓励我让我继续坚持。三年过去了，我克服了很多困难。渐渐的我喜欢上了琵琶。现在它成了我生活中不可缺少的东西。每天我都弹奏心爱的琵琶和妈妈听。而且我也终于明白妈妈当时的决定。她使得我没有遗憾。
