My friend---Ruby 我的朋友
I have a very good friend, and her name is Ruby. She is a little bit thinner and shorter than me. She is very beautiful and intelligent. She has an excellent voice and is very good at singing.
We met in the year 2005. That summer I graduated from primary school and came into NO.26 middle School. We were in the same class, and her seat was just in front of mine. We soon became friends. We studied and played together. If one of us failed an exam, the other one would cheer her up. We tried our best to treat each other well and share joyful school times together. We both liked sports. After school or in gym class, we played basketball and volleyball together. Because I am a little bit taller, I played better than she did. On summer vacation, we went to the beach together. We were both good at swimming.
Last summer vacation, we went to Beijing together. She had been there before, so that trip, she was my guide . In Beijing, we went to many beautiful places. We visited the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Beijing University, and so on. We had a wonderful time there.
I am thankful for Ruby. She has given me so much help and has brought a great deal of happiness to my life.

我有一个好朋友，她的名字叫卢贝。她比我瘦些，也比我矮些。她很漂亮，也很聪明。她有一付好嗓子，擅长唱歌。
我们相识于2005年。那年夏天，我小学毕业来到了26中。卢贝与我同在一班，她的位子正好就在我的前面。我们很快就成为了朋友。我们一起学习，一起玩耍，互相帮助。无论对方考试成绩好坏，我们都互相鼓励，从而取得进步。我们尽己所能去互相帮助对方，共同分享愉快的校园生活。
我们都很喜欢体育运动，每当上体育课或者放学时，我们总是在操场上打篮球或者是排球。因为我身高力量大，所以技术稍微好些。放暑假时，我们经常一起到海边去，在水中玩耍，因为我俩可都是游泳好手。
上个暑假，她和我一起去了北京。因为她以前去过，所以就成为我的向导。在北京，她带我去过许多美丽的地方，我们参观了长城，故宫，以及北京大学等。我们在那儿度过了难忘的时光。
谢谢卢贝，是她给了我很多的帮助，给我带来了许多的欢乐。
