Never Give Up——永不言弃

There are many challenges, difficulties and frustrations on our life’s road. But we should envisage them, or we will become frustrated. If we are defeated, we should face it instead of evading it. Then we must go on it again. And the most important thing we should remember is “Never give up”.
I remember that once I failed in an exam. I got fifth place in the grade. But for me I thought it was a failure. I was very disappointed for myself then. At that time, my mother said to me: “Dear, cheer up! Don’t you want to defeat your opponent next time? If you want to, you shouldn’t be so dispirited! You can’t lose your morale! Try to find yourself. Don’ t give up!” The words she said woke me up with a start and encouraged me immediately. I know that even though I didn’t do very well, I must struggle for my goal. I said to myself: Never give up，so I work harder and get good marks.
The person who I most respect is Napoleon. He had lots of successes, but some failure as well. However, he never gave up. In the sixth Anti-France alliance, Napoleon was banished to the Island of Elba. People thought he couldn’t rise up again, but they were wrong. He escaped from Elba and restored the throne again. Although he didn’t have the victory in the end and failed in Waterloo, his spirit was exalted. If he had drooped at that time, maybe he would never have come back. His perseverance made him victorious.
I just want to tell everyone: If you tumble, you should stand up again with confidence and recover. Only the people who persist at last can be successful. In fact, so long as the number of times you stand up is more than the number of times you drop down, you will win in your life. Be sure, Never give up and you will gain a lot from it.

在我们的人生之路上，有很多的挑战、困难和挫折。但我们应正视它们，否则我们就会变得很颓废。如果我们失败了，我们应面对它们而不是逃避，然后继续走下去。你应记住的最重要的一件事就是：永不言弃。
我记得有一次我在考试中失利了，在级部中取得了第五名，但对我而言，那是一次失败，当时我非常沮丧。在那时，妈妈对我说: “孩子，振作起来！难道你不想下次击败你的对手吗？如果想，就不能这么没有精神，就不能丧失斗志！找回自己，不要放弃！”她的话惊醒了我并立即鼓励了我。我知道就算我考得不理想，但我应为我的目标奋斗。我对自己说要永不言弃。于是我更加努力，取得了好的成绩。
我最崇敬的人当属拿破仑。他取得了巨大成功，但也有一些失败。然而，他并没有放弃过。在第六次反法联盟中，拿破仑被流放到厄尔巴岛上。人们以为他不会卷土重来了，但他们错了。他从厄尔巴岛上逃走，又掌握了政权。虽然他并没有取得最后的胜利，兵败滑铁卢，但他的精神是可贵的。如果当时他消沉了，也许他将不会恢复原位。他的坚持使他闪光。
我只想告诉每个人：如果跌倒了，那么充满信心地站起来。挫折过后，应当及时调整。只有那些坚持到底的人才能成功。其实，只要站起来的次数多于倒下的次数，就会赢得人生。要知道，应永不言弃，那样会从中受益良多。
