My Weekends—我的周末

Hello, everyone! My name is Wang Qianzhi, and my English name is Susan. I am 10 years old. Today I want to talk about my weekends.

My weekends are very colorful and meaningful. Saturdays are the days for studying. Finishing my homework is my first duty. Then I will spend most of my time on reading English comic books and listening to English tapes. Sometimes I go to the book city with my father. My father often asks me to read different kinds of books such as books on history, books on literature and culture. At first, I think these books are very boring, but now I am eager to go to the book city every weekend.

Sundays are the time for leisure. Sometimes I fly kites on May 4th square. Sometimes I go to the beach to feed seabirds. However, my favorite thing is going to the zoo. There are various kinds of lovely animals in the zoo. Monkeys are very smart, elephants are very stout, and tigers are very feral. In a word, spending my weekend in the zoo makes me feel happy and interesting.

我的周末既丰富又有意义。星期六是学习的日子，写完家庭作业是我的首要任务。然后我会把大部分时间用来读英语书和听英语磁带。有时候爸爸会带我去书城。爸爸经常让我读不同种类的书。有关于历史的，关于文学的，关于文化的。起初我认为这些书很枯燥，但是现在每周末我都会期盼去书城。

星期天是休闲的日子。有时我会去五四广场放风筝；有时我会去海边喂海鸥。尽管如此，我还是最喜欢去动物园。动物园里的动物真多呀。猴子们很聪明，大象们很结实，老虎们很凶猛。总之一句话，周末去动物园逛逛是非常有意思，非常开心的。
