　Since the earth is our only habitat, we need to take considerable care of her. Recently, our environment has been increasingly polluted through wastewater, smoke, rubbish, etc. With the development of new technology, we need to consider our earth more.

　Of course it is very important to deal with the different kinds of rubbish in our cities. The rubbish will do harm to the air we breathe, the water we drink, as well as the places where we live in. People have already taken many measures to deal with the rubbish, such as sorting, and recycling of different kinds of rubbish. The government also takes environmental protection very seriously. We have already seen their achievements. But there is still a long way to go.

　As middle school students, what can we do to protect our earth, as well as the environment? The fundamental thing is to plant more trees, but that is not enough. We must try our best to protect our earth and make it a better place for us to live in.

　地球是我们的唯一居住地， 我们要细心的呵护。近来， 由于废水的排放， 废气的排放，以及垃圾的倾倒， 地球遭受到了严重的污染。随着科技的发展，我们还是要更关注一下地球。

　当然处理城市里各种垃圾是十分重要的。这些垃圾将会污染到我们呼吸的空气，我们喝的水，以及我们的居住地。人们已经采取了不同方式来处理垃圾，例如垃圾的分类，及垃圾的再利用。政府也十分关注环境保护。 我们业已看到一些成效。但是任重道远。

　作为中学生，我们能为保护地球保护环境做点什么呢？ 最基础的莫过于植树了。但是这远远不够。 尽我们最大的努力把地球变成最适合人类居住的理想家园吧！
