My Hometown
I'd like to introduce
myself to you.
My English name
is Tina Dai and my Chinese name is Dai Meng Yuan. I'm in Yu Cai
middle school. I was born on May the fourteenth, and I'm fourteen
years old now. I believe I'm a happy girl, because I like talking
with everybody. Sometimes I speak in English.
I like doing many
things, for example: reading, riding bicycle, playing computer
games, swimming, climbing the mountains, studying Math and English,
watching TV, and so on. In my home you can always hear English,
because my mother is crazy about studying English. My mother is
working in Qingdao University as a professor. My father is working
in Lucent Technology as a sales manager. I love my family very
much.
My hometown is in Rongcheng, it's a satellite city of Weihai.
There is a little village in Rongcheng called Xiaohuangjia, my
mom lived there when she was young, and my father was born in
another village named Panjiagou.
There are many kinds
of fruit in my hometown, especially apples and pears. My aunt
has a big garden, and she grows apples, grapes, pears and strawberries
in it. Every year, I would eat many kinds of delicious fruits
from Rongcheng. That is so nice.
Rongcheng is a rich
city, because it has so many sceneries such as Shengshuiguan,
Chengshantou(the most east place of mainland China), and so on.
There are thousands of tourists from all over the world. I am
very pleased to have visited all those places. I normally go back
to my hometown 3times a year. I love my hometown and I also love
the people over there.

我非常荣幸的向大家介绍自己。
我的英文名字叫Tina Dai，中文名字叫戴梦媛。我在育才学校上学。于五月14日出生，现在已经14岁了。我相信自己是一个快乐的女孩，因为我愿意跟任何人交谈。有时还用英语跟他们谈话。
我喜欢做很多事情，例如：读书、骑自行车、玩电脑游戏、游泳、爬山、学习数学、英语和看电视等。在我家里，你总可以听见有人在讲英语，因为我妈妈十分酷爱学习英语，她是青岛大学教授。而我爸爸则是朗讯公司的经理。我非常爱我的家人。
我的老家在荣城，它属于威海——一个靠近它的大城市。在荣城有一个小村子叫“小黄家”，妈妈小时候就住在那里，爸爸是在另外一个叫“潘家沟”的村子里出生的。
老家盛产许多水果，特别是苹果和梨。姑姑家有一个大院子，她在院子里种了很多的苹果、葡萄、梨和草莓，所以每年我都能吃到很多来自家乡的水果，真得很好吃。
荣城是个富裕的城市，因为那里有很多旅游景点，有：圣水关、成山头（中国沿海的最东端）等，还有许多。来自于世界各地的游客都会去那些地方。我非常喜欢那些景点。正常情况下我每年至少能回老家三次。我爱我的故乡也爱那里的人。
