Children's Day Cerebration – 庆祝六一儿童节

Hello, everyone. My name's Liu Mingyang. You can call me Billy in English. I am eight years old. I study at Jia Ding Road Primary School.

Did you have a good time on Children' Day this year? I did. Before the first of June, I had the pleasure of joining the jamboree for Children's Day and for the Children's club, that was built forty years ago. On the day, I arrived at May 4th Square early. It was the first time for me to join this kind of jamboree. I had to recite a Chinese proverb all by myself. I tried my best to give a good performance to all our young friends. Then we were all in a play called “watching the national flag raising ceremony at Tian-an-men Square”. We got on stage and stood side by side; we looked at each other and began the performance. We were successful! The whole jamboree was very exciting. The applause was abundant and I was proud to have brought happiness and joy to all. I hope everyone had a happy and memorable day.
