Applications invited for the Leewen Internship
A 6-12 month work-study opportunity for university students or graduates interested in learning Chinese and experiencing the culture of a beautiful city on the Chinese coast.

What's in the package?
·Free accommodation (fully furnished, utilities covered, shared)
·RMB 4000 (about USD500) per month - living allowance
·Travel reimbursement of Rmb8000 (about USD1000) for 12 months
·Travel reimbursement of Rmb4000 (about USD500) for 6 months
·16 hours of English teaching in the weekend or evening.
·Opportunity to learn and improve Chinese.

3) Two recommendation letters; 4) Copy of passport;
5) Graduation certificate or A letter from your school's registrar stating you are graduating this year

Knowing the heart, is knowing the mind. I have traveled to many cities in a few countries. In all the places I have been, one thing is the same, the nature of people. This is true in any culture, each one tries to have a unique cultural image that they present to the world. Take away all the cultural images and beneath it all, people everywhere are remarkably the same in their nature.

Being in this lovely city of Qingdao, I have had the pleasure of meeting all kinds of people. Qingdao is a very international city. But as I told one person, I came to Qingdao to teach at Leewen, not to meet foreigners.

I consider myself lucky to have the privilege of teaching at Leewen. T he students here at Leewen have a golden opportunity to learn English and to expand their minds.
